Waluigi's Taco Stand is switching Game Engines!


Hello everybody, this is Snail Team writing this devlog to bring to you an update regarding an update to Waluigi's Taco Stand.

So, I have decided to remake this prototype of Waluigi's Taco Stand entirely in Unity, since at the time I was using Scratch/Turbowarp to make the game. I didn't really like using Scratch to develop this game, since the game engine/coding language was annoying to use. Instead, I am going to make this game using Unity Game Engine and change some aspects of it to make it a more professional game.

You might ask, will the gameplay and overall visuals of the game stay the same? Yes, and No... The gameplay will be mostly the same, with the Papa's Pizzeria and Cooking Fever style gameplay being the main focus of the game, with the ability to upgrade your shop and decorate it. Along with new gameplay ideas, events, and more, the gameplay will remain about the same but still be as enjoyable. However, the visuals are going to be completely changed to feature normal/generic customers (think of it like Nintendo's Miis) and have Waluigi replaced to be a new character, named Wally. Since this might be a completely new game and art style, I have decided to make this a completely copyright-infringement free game, because I was thinking about releasing this game on Steam. I like the idea of a "work at your own pace with customizable freedom" game with the cooking  time-management focused gameplay, and I would like to make this a more high-quality experience, and release on Steam without infringing copyright (by getting rid of the Nintendo and other internet characters).
